Navigating Grief Series – Free – Wednesdays from August 27 to October 1, 2025 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Winfield SDA Church, 11370 Bottom Wood Lake Rd. This 6-part series is designed for relatives, friends, caregivers, or anyone who wants to be more present, spiritually grounded, and emotionally wise in how they care for others.

2nd Annual Our Journeys of Hope Indigenous Spiritual Gathering - September 12–14 at Lake of the Trees Bible Camp in Forest Grove, BC. (Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes southeast of Williams Lake) This family-friendly weekend is organized by a team of Indigenous Adventists from across BC and Alberta and will feature inspiring stories of hope and Bible teachings contextualized through Indigenous worldviews.

All presenters are First Nations Adventists, passionate about their faith and deeply engaged in their cultural communities. The gathering aims to nurture healing and hope for Indigenous people and allies invested in the ministry of reconciliation.

After the event, attendees will have the opportunity to join a support network offering weekly online Bible studies and prayer gatherings.

Circle of Friends – Sunday, September 14 at 3:00 pm – at the Rutland Church. Join us for an Advance Care Planning Workshop presented by Tammy Molina. Everyone is welcome—you do not need to be a senior or retired to attend. There will be no fellowship dinner this time. Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes – It’s time to start preparing our shoeboxes! Kelly Fisher is already gathering supplies and encourages you to pick up a box and fill it, or donate funds and items while school supplies are on sale. Urgent need: new toothbrushes (especially if you have dental office connections). Kelly is also looking for a vacuum sealer to help pack stuffed animals and clothing more efficiently. A shoebox can change a child’s life.

Tackling the Temptations of Technology – with Mike and René Lemon from It Is Written – September 15 to 19, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Okanagan Christian School. Learn how to make healthy connections with topics like Low-to-No-Tech Education, Strategies for Using Tech, Managing Screen Time, Dangers of Distraction and Effects on the Brain.

Hayden Wiseman Violin Concert – Journey of Faith – Monday, September 15 at 7:00 pm at Son Valley Fellowship SDA Church, 2100 Gordon Dr. A love offering will be collected to support Hayden’s ministry and albums will be available for purchase after the concert. Prescription for Love – September 19 - 20, 2025 – at Kelowna Church – presented by Mike and René Lemmon from It Is Written. Learn and experience how to connect with each other God’s way. Whether you are 16 or 60, this seminar will help enrich your relationships and establish or re-establish the foundation for marriage and family. Women’s Fall Retreat - 2025:  Ladies, join the rest of the group for a time of connection, laughter and time with God at the BC Conference Women’s Fall Retreat at Camp Hope from October 3 - 5, 2025.   Aleksandra Tanurdzic, a gifted and skilled speaker who believes deeply in living a life of purpose, service and love, will be speaking on the theme In His Image.  Topics include:  It's Not Your Fault, When You Marry and Live with a Fool, To Fit or to Belong, and Your True Identity.
